Mmmmmm???

I've been interstate for work all day today. Left at 5.30am this morning and not back till 9.45pm. 8O So DH has been in charge.
Noticed Rowdy cat has black stuff on the side of him?? Noticed I have black stuff on my hands...oh that's from the black stuff all over Bebe's legs (ink from a pen, maybe?)
There's one lone arm (the bit that goes over your ear) of a pair of prescription spectacles on the side board :?
Mmmmm what the hell did Bebe get up to for entertainment today?

Up-date! Now I've discovered black ink on the sofa in the part of the house Bebe isn't meant to be in unsupervised.
I'm not so amused anymore.

Oh that doesn't sound like the makings of a good night in for you Mim
Yes it's black ink from a pen that is no longer capable of being used as a writing implement but did make a lovely chew toy.

Its that really fine powdery ink, that's kind of a cross between a powder and a liquid.

How am I so familiar with the properties of pen ink I hear you ask?

Does this help answer you're question? (couldn't make it vertical just tilt your head to the left  )

luckily it washed off

Um, what did you do with (to?) your DH? Is he in a time out for his poor supervision skills?
He's out in the back courtyard starting building my new back fence and gate.
Hi Mim

Bebe look very please with herself, she was trying to learn to draw , just like my Faith she paint a beautiful picture in my bedroom floor with black paint using her beard and paw as a brush !
I like the beard!!! Part of a costume, LOL? I'm sure the pen was delicious.

Hi Monica
I wish she she painted the bedroom floor!! She painted my sofas instead. It's been super busy this weekend so I've not had time to research how to remove ink from sofa fabric. I'm sure the longer I take the harder it will be but life is busy right now.
a product called goof off works well (yes we have been there)
Yikes! I think these pups get tired of their nice, clean beards........

My niece, a young artist, did a lovely chalk drawing years ago of a Thanksgiving table complete with a cornucopia. I laid it out on the spare bed, as it needed to be sprayed and treated before we could take it for framing. A couple of days later, Oscar showed up with a completely black beard, much like "Inky" here. 8) He decided that there was something new in the room that he needed to check out, so he sniffed the whole thing, dragging his wet face over it! (That was one thing about both Oscar and Quincy. If you moved or changed ONE THING, they would stop in their tracks to investigate.) Luckily, the drawing escaped unscathed, so we framed it immediately.

(I have pics of this somewhere, but still having trouble looking looking at his photos.)
