Fergie

We had Fergie sleeping all night and trained. Now she is waking up about 1 or 1:30 to go out. Anyone have any ideas as to why. NEED SLEEP :x

I would suggest restricting her water at night. We take up the water bowls about 2 hours before bedtime, but a younger pup can't hold it as long so it would depend how old, and what time you take her out last at night.
I am thinking the same thing about restructing water intake. Also, is your sheepie going to the bathroom more frewuently than usual in general despite having the same water and food intake over a period of 3 days or so? Just something you might want to keep your eyes on.
A UTI is also a possibility... no?
We give her a last drink about 7:30, and her last out time is 10-10:30.
We are thinking since we got her at night she is in a crate. She was in a large room with her breeder home. She said they would last take them out at 10 pm and that they would go till 5 AM. She did that here even in the crate the first 10m days. By the way,she is 15 weeks. She will hold it for about 4 hours during the day. HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Well if it's not an issue of needing to urinate, then maybe she is anxious about something, just needs to know you're there. You could try having the crate in your room, so she can see and hear you, or you could try ignoring her. She may just need to be tired out more through the day with play and walks.
Could also be that she cried the first night and you came and got her so now when she wants attention, she cries and out you all go.

Could be new surroundings and nerves also. Probably should get her checked out at the vet's, just to be sure that's not the problem.
When we got Avalon she was 14 weeks. We put a crate in our room. We would take her to potty just before putting her in the crate for bed. She would bark when we put her in the crate. She would bark in the middle of the night sometimes. She didnt need to go out, she just heard us in the room and wanted to play LOL. We have since moved her out of our room and she is in the dining room. We all now get plenty of sleep. She goes in her crate about 10:30-11 and wakes us about 6-7am. Since she cant hear anyone she stays sleeping (or at least she stays quiet)
Good Avalon! I wish Bailey would sleep till 6 or 7. He's a 5:30am kind of guy. No need for an alarm clock in my house!
