Allison. It was so nice to meet you! Kiss the pups! |
So glad to hear you caught it in time, bloat is one of my fears for both my dogs. |
Thank goodness. Wishes for a speedy recovery. What symptoms did you notice first? |

Thinking good thoughts for Bogey.... Laurie and Oscar |
So glad you caught it in time! |
It was my biggest fear too. I do everything to prevent it. But it happened. Bogey started to try to vomit and could not. I thought they happens occasionally. But it became frequent. He started to look confused or dazed. Walking around. Could not sit. I then checked his tummy. It was very distended. Immediately got him in car. It was amazing he could walk and got into car. I could not lift him. |
Bogey is home and doing great. He will have to go back for staple removal in about 10-14 days. He is on lots of Meds. He's eating and drinking. It's scary I almost lost him. |
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. |
Thanks for letting us know the symptoms he had, glad he is okay. |
That's great. It's so much knowledge here - means a lot to many, I think! |
So scary! I am happy that he is recovering. |
I've been away for a time and just catching up. So glad that Bogey is ok. And I agree wholeheartedly about the value of our forum and its members. |
