No not really because they vary. You don't want a chunkie puppy, but enough "stuff" on them they are not skinny. Don't push the protein as that may cause fast growth and problems with bone and muscle development as well as puts too much stress on kidneys. They go thru phases where they'll eat everything and then back away for awhile, don't panic. Often it is teeth coming in and making eating difficult or some "pain" in development. For sure if you find limping or other problems, go to vet. Some nasties can happen......which I way I never pushed protein or calcium. The growth is not linear so, stop, take a breath and enjoy the pup because it will be gone before you know it. |
