Oscar 7/30/2003-8/25/2015
I tried to get Oscar into a osteosarcoma study, but they would not accept him, because he had to be weight bearing on all legs and he was not. I then set up an appointment with a vet oncologist to see what we could do. That was for yesterday. On Tuesday the bone broke completely and his leg just dangled. We went back to our vet and the decision was made to help Oscar over the bridge. It was heartbreaking for both my husband and myself. Our vet was wonderful. Very compassionate and caring. Oscar is now no longer in pain and with his beloved mom (he was a real momma's boy!). We are all missing him, Dudley his litter brother, the cats and us. Kathie |

I am so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how happy his mama was to see him running across the bridge. I hope that Dudley and the cats can bring you some comfort.  |

| Thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts. Every day gets a little easier, but we still miss Oscar very much. We received his ashes back yesterday and we plan to spread some of them in his favorite place in our yard and some where his mom's ashes are. We know he is at peace, but it still hurts. Kathie |
