Benson loves to sit on the hill in the nice weather. And who wouldn't? But if we tell her we're heading back in before she's ready, she literally throws herself backwards and lays there until she gets a bellyrub. (Which we, of course, give her!) | I've been waiting years to get exactly the right video. She'll often wait until we actually touch her, so it looks like we're pushing her backwards. But it's all her, and it's a very definitive move! And I admit, we are very well trained to give bellyrubs after that. I can resist almost anything . . . except that move!  |

| Oh my goodness she is ADORABLE! Yes, Steel does the same behavior but that is the only similarity!!! He isn't cute about it! He just refuses to move! I have to tell you there is NO moving him when he decides he isn't moving - You must approach him and do that same kind of scratch all over his head, brush his hair from his eyes, give him a big smooch and "ask" if he is ready to go NOT tell him it is time to go. All the while looking him right in the eyeballs. I must say this doesn't occur with me too often but my oldest son frequently hmmmm. I told him it is going to continue because he is letting it and he better start going back to the basics with him or he is destined to deal with these shenanigans. Plus he has to fix his hair when it's over! |
