| Ouch! Oh, some knee booboos from body slams and failure to stop on time....nothing requiring surgery. A few head lumps from being too near their head when they jerked up. Bite from Jack initially. Tumbles when I tried to step over and they moved, but mostly it's the toe nail in the bare or sandal clad food. They love to be near and sometimes our feet are in the way. That pain is at least once a week in summer. Winter my feet are better protected. Hope the head egg heals quickly. |
Got walloped on the jaw by Benson once during playtime. Saw stars, and chipped a couple of teeth, but fortunately didn't loosen any of them.  And I couldn't get mad at her. We were roughhousing, and she didn't even know she did it! We still roughhouse, but I'm careful to keep my chin tucked out of the way now.  |
You poor thing! Perfect description, I could picture the whole scene playing out in my head.  Steel constantly and I mean CONSTANTLY runs his face, nose into my (sorry if this gets a little "R" rated) whatever bone that is below my belly button. He slams into it. It hurts sooooo bad. It isn't just me, He does it to everyone but it lands different on different people depending on how tall you are so my poor oldest son ends up on the floor in tears 1/2 the time. Aensley who is 9 gets bruised between her "oobies" and my middle babe gets it in the tummy. He isn't being mean he just can't slow down. It would be nice if he would just turn his head a little! He also and this just happened to me last night... hits people with his teeth on accident. Especially now that it is warmer out his mouth is always open so if he turns his head fast to see something or like last night to lay his head on me and my arm was in the way he kinda bites you. Not really, but you have marks from his teeth slamming into you. He got a hair cut again so he is running around all frantic because his penis showed up again and he isn't sure what to do! He could normally care less if someone is stepping over him, he doesn't budge for anything. He figures YOU will move! Sonny on the other hand will scamper and cause you to trip and land on Skye who will then look at you like you are the worst parent ever showing no concern over your bloody chin and Steel all the while is still laying in the same spot laughing inside I'm sure. He won't even move if you run a vacuum up his back! Mable4ever, I hope you put some ice on that lump! |
| July 22, 2014 Helene was 6 mts old and was zooming around the backyard with Declan who was 7mts and Asia and she came up by me and just brushed me, but made me lose my balance and I fell and broke my wrist on my right arm. It was a compound fracture and I had to have surgery and have a plate in my wrist. That is the worse that has happened, but I've had dogs for 12 years now and I've been knocked out of my shoes and knocked on to the grass, hit in the eye with a snoot. I could go on, but I've survived so far. lol So Helene holds the cup for the most damage to me so far. |
