Mickey Finn is a graduate1

My beautiful, 5 month old boy, Michael Francis Finn, has graduated Level 2 in puppy obedience class this past Sunday. I am so proud of my boy. Mickey Finn was the youngest in the class. There was a 10 month old Aussie and a year old Aussie mix. So now we'll continue working with him and Helene/Declan so they all get better and will remember what they've been taught. As you can imagine, Mickey Finn was the charmer in the class. One of the questions people would constantly ask me, even in the class is how his hair stayed so fluffy. His class was at 10:30, so about 7:00 in the morning I had him in the shower washing him up and then I let him "air" dry. Periodically I would put a brush through his hair going against the grain, which kept his hair nice and fluffy. I also used the Pantene I use on my hair as his final shampoo so that his hair smelled really good. We had a lot of compliments on his hair smell as well. lol
Mickey Finn has also graduated out of his kennel 24/7. He has proved himself trust worthy to be out with the other dogs in the house. So far so good, it's been about a week now.
Mickey Finn is also into his second coat color, he's grey in his backend and front end moving toward the middle. The funny thing is Helene, who is almost 16 months old, is going into her third coat where it is turning black where the grey is the exact places like Mickey Finn but with the opposite colors. For those whose not seen a pic of Mickey Finn he is a snow top and body is all black down on to his legs almost to the paws. Helene has a mask, with a black body.
I really happy did so well in class.

Maybe I should learn how to do it, then leave David at home with the girls! :wink:
