has she been spayed? Sometimes that will cause incontinence in female dogs. Or, it could be a urinary tract infections. It's probably a good idea to make an appointment with your vet. I have two females, and one has always been incontinent, even before spaying. It wasn't very often that she'd lose bladder control, so on my vet's advice we held off doing any medicine until she was older, and we were sure it wasn't something she'd grown out of. She's been on medicine now for years, and it works quite well. |
Yep, agree with Allison. First of all have her tested for a UTI, urinary tract infection. Second, if she's been spayed, this may be the result. Pills replace the missing estrogen. Not all girls develop this problem after spaying, but it happens. |
