Brick needs to find a new groomer :-(
He desperately needs an Airecut. He hasn't been cut since early October. Typically, Carol (his groomer) is very busy and it's difficult to get a hold of her. This spring has been particularly hard to make contact. I sent her an email the other day and she responded last night. She's been having health issues with one of her arms (tendonitis). She's getting shots & acupuncture to help alleviate the pain & weakness. It's not working as fast or as much as she had hoped. Because of this, and because of her age (67), she has cut back on her hours of grooming (no more Saturdays) and her clients. She's now focusing on her smaller customers; ones she can manage with one good arm & one not-so-good arm. That means she will no longer be able to groom Bricky. She says there's no way she can hold him with one arm/hand and clip him with the other. This bums me out. One, because I don't want her to not be able to do what she seems to enjoy (and she did enjoy working on Brick; she seemed upset that she wouldn't be able to groom him anymore) and two, because I need to find a new groomer. Carol, being a prominent Airedale breeder, was awesome at grooming Brick. I asked her if she had any recommendations. It will be hard to replace her.  |

| How about Schoolhouse? I don't know what experience Jean has with Airdales, but if you use her, Brick & Zeke could have their spa days together. |

If Carol doesn't have any recommendations, I'll give Jean a shot at grooming him. I think she's said that she's either done Airedales or currently does them. It would make it easier as both dogs would go to the same place on the same day (best case). |
| I can relate to your groomer. I still need to even out Kdog, can't do it anymore at one setting. Hope the alternative works out. |
