Frozen iPad?
Long story, huh? Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is my iPad a goner? I actually prefer my Nexus but the iPad is 6 months old and no, I didn't buy the extended warranty.... |

| Is there a way to reset? For example when my old Kindle starts to act up, I hold the start button down for about 12 seconds and the device unscrambles its mind, reboots, etc. Hopefully all the others who have far more knowledge than I will chime in with the correct answer. |

| Finally got it sorted. My new laptop did not have iTunes. I installed iTunes. It was the wrong version. So I had to UNinstall itunes (thank goodness I had printed directions), REinstall the correct version, then hook up the iPad. Everything is running fine, but what a PITA. |
