Sister not very sympathetic

| I am the youngest of 4. Sister 9 years older, brother 6 years, brother 3 years. My oldest brother never liked me, and in later years told me he hated me. He was an alcoholic. Other brother had emotional problems and we got along fine but were not close. My sister and I are close. Point being that just because they are family doesn't mean you have a relationship. I love my sister and she loves me and we have worked to become closer. I can tell you not to look to your sister for sympathy because apparently she won't give it to you. But it is sad when families don't get along. And I'm sorry about your dog. You can always come here. |
| I am so sorry for the loss of your dog. Families can be complicated. You have to do what you feel you need to do, you can't make people feel things that they don't. I'm sorry you're going through this. |
