http://www.thv11.com/story/news/local/2015/02/19/dozens-of-animals-rescued-from-suspected-ark-puppy-mill/23699813/ Quote: Forty-six dogs and 11 other animals were rescued from a suspected Warm Springs, Arkansas, puppy mill. The owner, who was previously convicted of animal cruelty in 2013, is selling the animals in person and online through various websites. Randolph County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on the property and discovered the animals, mainly Great Pyrenees, were being housed in appalling conditions, most without access to clean water or food. The Humane Society of the United States and other area organizations, including Central Arkansas Rescue Efforts for Animals, The Humane Society of Saline County and Randolph County Humane Society, assisted in the rescue and removal the animals. Many dogs were found outdoors, without any protection from the freezing cold, while others were living on piles of feces and urine inside the home. Some of the animals were suffering so severely they needed immediate medical care. Others were emaciated and so matted they could not even move. This is why we here harp about on line sales........you don't know where these dogs are coming from, who and how they are being bred, what physical, biological and social conditions they are enduring all for the all holy buck. Anyone capable of inflicting such cruelty to these dogs will have no trouble lying through their teeth about health, happiness, and "we've never had a problem." |

I just hope that there is a special place in hell for such people. |
For once I have nothing much to say. My stomach is in knots. Better put, I'm thinking many things that are inappropriate to type. Already convicted of animal cruelty. Makes it very hard for the GOOD people out there who are producing quality puppies and having to jump through hoops. The good people who make very little money if any because they are testing and they are providing their/our babies with the best care available. The GOOD people who do it because they love dogs, they love to see joy on peoples faces. They genuinely care about the long term health of their animals. How in the heck do those people sleep at night? No neighbors? No cars driving by? Emaciated? That takes awhile, how could that go on and no one notice? I'm talking myself right into a rage for someone who had nothing much to say. God can see everything and although I believe not vengeful, I do believe those people will be pooping in a cell with an audience for at least a little while! Nothing like sitting in it or wearing it but I'm sure it will be different than what they are used to and lets see if they get the hair brushes they are used to. Fine dining is out that is for sure. |
Well, it is Arkansas. Not that that is an excuse but it's a reason. A lot of people in southern states have different views of animal care. That said, there is some clear mental illness of these people if there are piles of feces in the house., etc. I agree with Kim. There must be a special place in hell for people like this. And let's pray they don't do it again. |
Can we bring back hanging! |
Hanging is good, but first they should be subjected to the same conditions and treatment as the animals were, then skinned and hanging after. |
