Feeding and watering

So here is my dilemma, I am feeding twice a day. When do I move to once a day? And is it aweful if I limit water? Like can I only water her when I feed her? Or wTer her like 3 times a day ,in order to help with house training . This about Charlotte Rose she is 4 months. She is still peeing in the house and I know she is young but she is driving me crazy with taking her out. I take her out and come in and in 10 minutes she pees after she pees outside. What the heck . I praise her when she goes outside and say nothing when she goes inside. But I do mumble under my breath lol.
Thanks for any advice

Generally you should continue to feed twice a day for her whole life. They need too much food to safely eat it in one sitting.

Dogs need access to fresh water as much as possible. I wouldn't restrict water

Have you taken her to the vet recently? It is possible she has a urinary tract infection or similar.

It will get better, but I know how sometimes it feels like it never will. :D
Thank you for your reply. I know it will. I just neeed to chill out. I know I went though this with Oliver, I just remember. Not to mention I had kids at home to help. It's like having a baby you forget what it's like and then you want another Lol.thanks for the encouragement!
I have a new baby. He is 10 weeks old. He kept doing the same thing. I'd take him out and come back inside and he would tinkle again. I read where someone said to let them tinkle twice. So I stay outside with him until he goes again. Make take a few minutes, but he defintely goes.

This has helped me alot.

Thanks, Tammy
Good idea to keep pups on 2x feeding to reduce amount in stomach. Don't want to encourage bloat.

As for pups not catching on to pee training......it takes time. Boys seem to be a bit slower in the process. Patience. The fact he is going outside and being encourage, great. Coming inside and peeing indicates he didn't empty outside and needs a bit more walking around after the first pee. Muscles are still developing.
Steel has a "thing" and after mentioning it on here and having him checked I found out he isn't alone and he is healthy and "normal." I call it the walk a pee or poo. I think it was Susan that had/has a dog that does/did it too. He goes potty in a stream not in one spot. He has to walk about and spread it around and make a few piles/spots of it. If I interrupt the process, I'm going to get the balance of it in the house! I used to think it was just a puppy thing until one day (after he was potty trained) he stared me right in the face and p'd on the floor! It was the point at which potty training was done as long as I was on top of it - I thought holy cow I just let you out what the heck (sound familiar)? I took him to the vet no UTI, agreed with my friends on this site that yes my fur ball is a bit of a brat and became a little more aware of the fact that I might have missed something too. A couple more of those long flowing streams all the way through my house and I realized I had interrupted his walk a pee because I was in a hurry. We are past the walk a pee's now. He can pee in one spot now but still has to walk a poo to feel good about himself! I don't try to understand it- now if I try to bring him in before he is done he stands hard like a brick wall until I turn around and go back. He has trained me well.
Not knowing any better years ago, I did lose Starbuck to bloat. Bear Bear had it but I caught it, surgery $$$$$.....I now put water on Tinsleys food to let it absorb before I feed her. Also do 2 feedings at night, once when i get home, then another about 3 or 4 hours later. I just have this thing about feeding her in the mornings and then being gone all day. Just really scared something would happen and me not be there. Also notice she does not drink as much water after I feed her. She has fresh water available at all times. But ran out of food and had to buy some and no time to let it soak, only gave her a small amount to let the other have time to swell. Interesting how much the dry food swells when it gets water. That is what happens in the stomach. But that night she drank a lot of water. I actually had to get her to stop.I fed her some carrots and baked potatoes to satisfy her that night. Something in the food makes them thirsty. She also would pee and pee again in house. So started staying out longer. She pees, plays fetch, loves on Mama kitty, plays, then pees and poops and comes in. If you are feeding dry food, do the experiment of putting water over it in a bowl and see how much it swells up...
After reading about how bloating can be fatal in dogs like OES I talk extensively with my vet that give me 2 good advices.

1 never exercise or do running after eating. Ideally you go for a walk and after it let them eat and have a nap. My one is still a puppy 4 months old and I always wait at least 30m after he eat to take him outside and still only to pee.

2 check his food, try to give a food that contains few cereals or flours and increase building gases.
