New to the forum

Hi, I'm new here (and English is my second language, so bear with me). I have an 8 month old sheepdog (Percival, we call him Percy) He is the most adorable, awesome, smart dog ever. But as amazing as he is he is also a little crazy. He went to doggie bootcamp with a very good trainer and knows his commands fairly well. The problem is that he thinks my kids are his playmates (9 year old twin boys) and he is higher up in the pack than they are. The boys know not to run or jump near him so that he doesn't go into herding mode, but he has been nibbling at them and grabbing their shoes (while they are wearing them) eating their shirts, etc. Nothing that i would consider aggressive behavior (he seems like he is just playing), but enough that is worrying me. I have tried to stop the behavior with commands (that didn't worked), redirecting him, flat collar and the leash on and now with a pinch collar. I cannot give him more than 3 or 4 treats a day treats cause his tummy gets sick. He is in perfect health (he has been tested for everything because of the food situation) and is in a veterinary diet till his stomach is better. He was just neutered. Can anybody advise me how to change his behavior before it escalates into aggression. Thanks

Sheepdogs heard - some more than others, it's natural. You said he went to bootcamp with a good trainer, then talk to her, (or him) maybe they can help you. If you Google it, you will come up with a lot of answers for this behavior.
