Petfinder.com is a great idea. Just remember- doodles aren't a recognized breed- merely the name indication a dog mixed with a poodle. So you need to search under POODLE and then look at the mix option. 7 years ago when we got our 2 sheepdogs as puppies, a woman in our neighborhood got what she was assured was a "teacup labradoodle". Of course, in mixes like these nothing it guaranteed, which the so-called breeder neglected to mention. Her Teacup doodle was larger than our girls at 6 months old, and maxed out at about 90 pounds. Gorgeous dog, a bit too high energy for me, but hardly teacup!!! |
