Declan Quinn turned 1 12/10/14
He is still a stinker about getting into things he's not supposed too, like my plants, pillows and cushions. I've put everything up I can, running out of places to stash stuff. So he is still crated when we leave the house or go to bed. He is getting better, or we're just running out of stuff, not really sure which. lol This year we put the Christmas tree on the piano and I've not regretted it yet. No, he can't climb up on the piano yet. I will bet, however, that he has thought about it. Declan has been such a big instrument in helping Chuck, Asia and I deal with our grief in the last year from losing China and Violet in January. China did get to meet Declan for 5 days and I'm happy about that. After China passed, Declan kept Asia busy with his puppy antics, which was helpful. China and Asia were best buddies. When they would walk the backyard property line they would walk side by side touching each other. I so worried about Asia coming from a pack of 3 down to just her, so Decllan filled that space. He was a pest to her at first, but he soon became "her boy" and no one could interfere with what Declan wanted to do. Anyway, Declan has been a great addition to our family and Helene, who came later is his best buddy now. Helene sleeps next to Declan's crate each night. I hope we have many more birthdays to celebrate with this boy. |

They also want to know if you have any left over treats from your birthday that you could send to them! I am sure your mommy did extra special things with you yesterday and spoiled you.
