Hollie has been put on a strong course of antibiotics since then for 3wks. After taking a liking to salmon at long last got her onto a dog food she will eat and eats straight away. She has tuna/rice/veg in a sachet and salmon/potato kibble both mixed together once a day. No trouble it coming out the other end and really nice to see her waiting for the mealtime. She licks her bowl clean something I have never experienced from her. This food is only available in sachets in the tuna/rice/veg and they do sell the salmon/potato in tins but no she refused but will eat salmon/potato kibble mixed with this tuna sachet. At long last I can say meal times I no longer dread. She is now putting weight on that she lost. I'm one happy owner now and hopefully won't need to visit the vet so often. |

Tough to find something that works, single protein foods can get creative, for when her tummy rebels with this, keep your eye out. If you were in Australia you'd be looking at Kangaroo tail. So glad she is eating and all is ending well too. Poor thing, was about to become a vegan. |
Hello! Im the owner of a wonderful 9 month old OES who is also very difficult when it comes time to eat. He is practically BARELY eating and all the tests performed on him at the vet show no signs of parasites or bacteria. He will get tired and bored of each brand of food we get him 4-5 days after starting. He has lost weight but he doesnt seem sick at all, just rebellious almost. Can you tell me the brand of food you bought your dog please? the salmon/potato and the tuna/rice/veg pouch. I would like to give them a try! any other advice or pointers i can get are welcome. I'm so worried! |
