My lovely boy Rufus forever in our hearts.
I am completely heartbroken to say our 6 year old boy Rufus has crossed the rainbow bridge, he was my heart and my soul and I loved him deeply, and miss him even more. Thank you for being such a great forum with such caring OES parents, all the information you have given over the years and support, maybe without even knowing, that Rufus and I have benifited from. Much love to all.  |

| The vet was treating him for diabetes, but I think it was cushing before I had chance to have a secound opinion he took a turn for the worse. All seemed so quickly, and all in about a month. So heartbroken for my poor boy. Thank you for you kinds words everyone.x |
| So sorry to hear this. Since my boy has been diagnosed with Cushing's, and after all the research I've done, after all the Cushing's support groups I've joined, and after the difficulties dealing with my vet, I've come to the conclusion that vets are not as smart as they think they are when it comes to endocrine issues. We as owners have to be strong advocates for the care of our furbabies. Nobody will care for them, or care about them, as much as we do. Hope that you can find peace in his memories. |

| Mark you are right, the disagreements I have had with the vet, and you don't wants questîon a professional, but I wished I had gone with my instintics and maybe we would still have him. If I have learnt anything from this is if you feel you need to question the vet, do so. As we are the only one that have real fight for our furbabies. |
