Can't believe what a difference measuring out food makes

Brick & Zeke have weighed about 63 lbs and 65 lbs, respectively, most of their adult lives.
When it came time to feed them, I just used a large black scooper I kept right in their kibble to dole out their food. I figured the amount I was giving them was about 1.5 cups.

Last fall, I switched to measuring cups to be more accurate.

Brick weighed in at 58 lbs a couple weeks ago and Zeke weighed in at 59 lbs yesterday.

I must have been WAYYY off when I was using the scoop.

Can't believe the difference in their weight when actually measuring out their food.

It's probably why Bricky bothers me every night now at about 8 or 8:30 for more food. And licking his bowl. And licking Zeke's bowl. :) (he doesn't get more)

I don't dare let Kdog read this, she will hide the measuring cups.
I weighed the food and the pot so got it right.x
I must admit I done mine by sight, but they both seem OK.....
