breeding practices

I am currently researching breeders for a OES puppy. I have noticed that with one litter I am looking at the Sire and Dam are half siblings (share the same Sire). Tracing the two parents of the litter back a little further I have found that out of the possible 8 slots for grandparents of the two, there are 5 grandparents that are all half siblings to each other (they share one grandparent and there are 4 others that are all half siblings with each other). Is this a normal breeding procedure to ensure a consistent blood line, or should this be a red flag for possible health issues for the puppies moving forward. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your responses.

So long as the breeder is a reputable breeder.......and the dogs have been shown. They have ALL of their health testing, and certifications i really don't see a problem with it.
I'm facing some same breeding situations of my own at this time. But again, only after they have "proven' themselves as being worthy of being bred together and for a good reason.
