So, I was brushing Bob today and noticed a lump on his back. I never noticed it before, but he wiggles so much I'm not sure how long it's been there. He just got his last puppy shots on Thursday (I don't remember if one was up on his back, I was trying to distract him). I don't know if that might cause some swelling? The other thing I just thought of was that on the ride to the vet he was sitting in the middle row of our minivan and I had to stop quick and he fell off. I'm not sure maybe he banged his back on this little table thingy between the 2 front seats, but I thought it was his head ( I definately need to get him one of those seat belts). Anyway, I'm rambling but has anyone had experience like this? Should I be worried - or wait a few days and see how it goes??

Better safe than sorry! I think some swelling could be normal and I hope Bob's lump is just a lump but it wouldn't hurt to call your vet about it tomorrow. |
It is most likely from the vaccine, but I would call them and ask to be safe. |

I have to say that I would call the vet absolutely or bring him in! It's far better to be safe! Besides, if anything it will make you feel at ease!

Well, everything's o.k. For future reference the lyme vaccine does often cause a lump in the shoulder area. Phew!!! Thanks for all your replies!!
