I'm looking for a Sheepie of my very own
I will consider any healthy younger dog, although I do prefer boys (I like big dogs). I'm not really interested in a puppy, although if it were the perfect dog for me, I would consider it. Please help keep me posted on any rescues you hear about. Thank you. |

| Are you hanging in there? I know you said you didn't want a puppy.....I can read but sometimes not tripping over a big mass of hair that didn't move when you are rushing from room to room will change your mind. That is what happened to me anyway! I just missed presence. Of course I wasn't replacing anything but I couldn't live without the actual responsibility and movement and added chaos. Sorry for the tangent that wasn't where I was headed....Steel's breeder whom I still stalk daily has 3 9 week old's left. She mainly does the Sheepadoodles so her waitlist is for those not the OES. 2 of the babies are males. I wasn't even going to say anything to you BUT one of them is just way toooo stinking cute to go without mentioning. He has one blue eye which always sucks me right in and they are splotchy not the more traditional coloring like Steel. They have no tails like Steel does which I realize most people like but this little boy has a unique looking smudge on his leg. I wish I could have more, more, more!!!! So, just let me know if you maybe want stick to less of a handful or if you want to take a peek and I can give you the info you need. |
| I'm sorely tempted by the puppy, especially since it does have that one blue eye. That gets me every time, too. I have a lead on a dog in a shelter. I'm going to meet him tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. |
Oh I am so excited for you!  Cautious optimism...I bet you have butterflies in your tummy and you wont sleep a wink tonight! I will be thinking of you! So, so happy for you. Can't wait to hear how it goes. |
 It didn't work out. The shelter emailed me to tell me that they decided he really needed a home with kids and a taller fence.The search continues. |
Aww POOP!  I guess it's good they are being so particular but really?! Really?! I'm so sorry... Keep your chin up, they still know how to reach you and I'm sure they wont let him wait very long if another applicant doesn't show up very soon. I think little smudge leg is still available. Haha |

| hello I am the founder of black dogs and company rescue in Maryland ( yep the company is OES!!) we have an 8 yo male here Would you be interested in him?? he will soon be up on our web and face book page If you think you would like him please fill out an application to adopt on our website Someone there would have to do a HV and then transportation would have to be arranged....It may not be doable but we can always try!!! |
