Upstairs/Downstairs - the Toy Version
 and has plenty of toys around the house. We looked around the living room tonight and counted 11 that we could see, and she just waltzed by with a 12th that we both missed. (And now that she has a BarkBox subscription, the toy count will continue to increase!)  We realized a little while ago that Benson has divided her toys into "upstairs toys" and "downstairs toys." She never brings her upstairs toys down, or takes her downstairs toys up. NEVER! So, our neighbor's dog stayed over for a long weekend while they were out of town. Benson & Clancy are absolute best buddies, and they rarely fuss, even over toys. Well! Clancy had the nerve to bring two of Benson's upstairs toys downstairs while he was here!  She was very polite, and we didn't notice. Until 5 minutes after he left, when Benson quietly searched out the misplaced toys and carried them back upstairs. Order was restored! |
