Today I picked up a 3 month old maltese named Angelica. She's perfect. And likes him and isnt scared. (30lbs vs 4) But he wants to bark and lunge and play really rough with her and bite her face. So I'm wondering if this is because its the first day, I"d like them to get along nicely... |

My oes named Hollie is 10months next week. She gets on ok with our 6yr golden retriever and forever jumping and pulling on the retrievers ears as she just wants to play. Totally different if walking alone with Hollie and if in the field with other dogs she becomes a nervous wreck but once back on lead and other dogs on lead she relaxes and we all walk together. The owners have been great at helping Hollie get her confidence. Back home she is this hypo puppy. Hopefully for you because you have them both similar age they will grow up as friends your oes is probably saying I'm top dog and putting the other in its place now. Good luck and congratulations on both your dogs. |
I have one large oes and one yorkie. Neither of them are top dog, when they were young I had to watch as oes was rough, but now they love each other...and panic if apart! good luck |
