Sally swimming in Hedges
Merlin again is showing his displeasure and is probably saying "Sally get outta there!" I've personally never seen anything like it. |

Oh my gosh!! That is too funny!!  Thank you for posting the video. Merlin is definitely telling Sally that a hedge is no place for a lady. She is such a clown with a gorgeous face. And the periscope-like tail at the beginning had me in hysterics. What does she thinks she's doing I wonder? I told DH about hedge swimming Sally last night and showed him the video just now. He loves Sally. He's always had a soft spot for those who like to be different.  Once he finished laughing his comment was 'she's fallen on her feet.' Ain't that the truth?! She's a lucky girl to have you. |
| Oh my goodness what a fantastic way to start my day!!! Thank you for that video! She looks so happy and Merlin so good trying to teach right from wrong! I wonder if it feels good to her like an all over scratch massage or something?! Maybe she smells a critter that has been in there? You described it so perfectly. |

| Thanks for the comments and glad you enjoyed the vid. I actually had a better one where Sally leaps from hedge to hedge and dives in. The previous owner had placed the hedges around various garden beds and the acreage is full of these hedges. Unfortunately it was too long and wouldn't let me upload on here but I may post it on Youtube in a day or so. I'll keep you posted. I'm speechless throughout except for one groan ....ohhh nooo or something like that. Can you believe I covered the fish ponds with heavy mesh? Sally then resorted to diving more into the hedges with her swimming motion which I believe is her payback for mean mom covering the ponds. The first time I thought perhaps she smelled an animal but I've ruled that out as she goes in numerous hedges. Kaj and I suspect it may just feel good on her body...as if she's getting a nice scratch and has itchies? She did arrive at the shelter covered with mats so perhaps this was her method of scratching her body previously? What a character!!! I have my work cut out for me - lucky she's cute. Poor Merlin he's really trying to teach her manners and is probably as dumbfounded at her antics like we are. |

I am so sad.  I couldnt get the video to play. Let me know if you post on you tube. How much bigger is Sally than Merlin? Is there a lake or river close that you plan on taken them to play in. But that would be super fun if there is one close. |
