There seems to be some tremors that are like you describe in some lines of OES. It gets brought up from time to time .....It's not desirable. |
Buster has rear leg tremors sometimes and also a head tremor sometimes (Buster is my Newfy) My vet does not what causes it and isn't concerned. He comes from a line of well bred dogs who are shown in confirmation and who's dog family and has not had related health issues, so I am not worried that it is something serious. We have found that his head tremors happen more on a high protein diet. On Origen kibble his head tremors happened more than on NOW kibble. His rear leg tremors usually happen when he has to stand in one position for a while such as with grooming. |
I do need to add in - the OES tremors are seen in some show lines. That is where the "discussions" are most of the time - ringside. |
