outside daytime

What about the daytime I have always been with my dog but going back to work? What should I do to get my dog ready? How long before goin out I know people work everyday, but when your dog is set in one behavior how do u change that

You start taking extended day trips. Start with 30 minutes to an hour and gradually increase it. Go thru the same routine you will be using.

For Kdog I make up a "toybox" before I go: peanut butter Kong, a few kibbles, a few of her favorite veggies and set that down and them immediately leave. She is fixated on the toybox not on me. I leave a radio on for sound.

She is housetrained, so I don't have to worry about her pee issues. That's something else you'll have to work on, how long can your dog "hold it."

I did notice Kdog is sensitive to my purse, when I moved it from one spot to another in the house, she ran to her toybox site expecting a treat. Looks like I need to so a little modification too.
We give Charm a "be back" treat as we go out the door. She seems fine getting treated to be rid of us all in one  I interfere with her naps
