There'a several good trainers in our area, but they will not let you go to any of their classes until you go through their first set of training (kindergaten) sessions.
And they are 15-20 miles away, which isn't that bad, but ... Abbi can sit, lay, heel(and I hoe heal), speak, retrieve and get her leash, fetch, and we are working on rolling over (she doesn't like to roll over for some reason). She loves getting all the hugs and kisses from the elementary kids here. But we are still working on the stay command. Good luck and have fun with Merlin. If my memory isn't playing tricks on me, Merlin isn't your first, so you know about patience already. I took Abbi to the Petco last wekend to buy new food and toys n stuff for the birds. It was her first time there and they were having an adoption drive. It was a blast! Abbi was a darling. I love the socialization stuff! |
