| Bidding paddles are done and my Mom and I have been working on the hair bows for our auction donation. Fred was kind enough to model some as a sneak preview!   Notice the very manly bow ties for the boy sheepies!   But wait!!! There's more!!! You just have to be present at the auction to see them!!!  |

You ALWAYs have a killer schedule~~~~ True, but I made it worse! I worked 12 hours Saturday, and Sunday (instead of getting stuff done at home) I took the boys to a weight pull. It was a great day, and glad we went! Then I picked up a partial shift (10 hours) today for another nurse who is having health issues, then go right to The Paw to teach class. Work 12 hours Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday I WAS going to leave early, but spaced out the date and scheduled Chewie and Riley's Therapy Dog eye exams. They are north 1.5 hours away - up at the U of M Vet College in St Paul, at 9am. So need to drive up there, do exams, then drive home. Then swap dogs and start the drive to St Louis!  |
| Well...sweety...honey....just take your time.....BE CAREFUL.....and we won't even think about celebrating without Chewy and Bond?? (or just Chewy>>)..I know you will be there a little early, so, no worries from St. Louis!!! Just can't wait to see you ALL!!!! |

| We're a little closer to being ready, Lyra got a bath tonight! Working on bidding paddles and packing up auction items. Think I needed to start getting ready about a week sooner. We're hoping to leave for the LOU on Friday morning!!! Can't wait to see everyone!!! |

I hate getting up early so will have to try to get to bed at a reasonable hour which isn't easy for me because of just finishing 4 night shifts. It's hard to switch back to day hours and sleeping at night.I can't wait to see everyone again this weekend! The weather is looking pretty good so far for temps in the 80's.  Much better than 2 years ago when it was over 100 degrees!Cindy |

| Nice hair!!! I started making piles of stuff last night, and I got my bidding paddle made last night....yay! Tonight after work it's time to wash dog whites, and finish packing. Late night, as I work until 7pm. Tomorrow we hit the road after going up to St Paul, U of M Vet college for eye exams. (Riley and Chewie)....then stop at home on our way south, swap Riley for Bond and start the big drive! |
Okay, I took a shortcut on my bidding paddle and modified something I had created before on the computer. Time is running out and I don't have everything done that needs to be done for the event. I can't even begin to think about the stuff I need to get myself ready.  But I think the paddle really fits us (meaning no glitz) so I am kind of excited about it. I just have to put it on a stick. |

I grabbed a paint stir stick at the store last night and used it for my handle, works great. I grabbed a spare, if you need it  |

| I'm about like you, Karen. 3 dogs bathed and trimmed, etc. (Riley needed to be done for his eye exam tomorrow) Paddle made and ready. Clothes sort of packed - washing my summer stuff as this will be it's first "outing" from winter storage....stupid weather! Most of the dog stuff packed, just need to add dishes, food etc in the morning. We hope to be heading out after the eye appts - noonish or by 1pm for sure! Safe travels everyone |

| Just getting ready to head to the tub with Benson - she'll be all spiffy and clean, with ribbons in her hair! It's a long drive for us, so we won't get to the Lou until after dinner tomorrow. But we'll see EVERYONE at the Saturday picnic! |
| Diane, It should be around 14 hours for you. Be careful in Ohio. TONS of police on the highways. Especially coming back on Monday (or maybe you're staying longer?; you should if you can. St Louis is a great town). Have a great trip and have alot of fun for all us Notheasteners who couldn't make it this year. Diane is our unofficial Northeastern rep.  |
