My "NELSON' BEAR
Nelson and Nita had a "LOVE-LOVE" relationship, just looking at them together one could see the adoration they felt for each other. I have my Nelson Bear in my bedroom watching over Dino, me and Willow at night. Every time I look at it, I think of our Nelson...gentle, joyful, friendly, beautiful.. Now that he is at Rainbow Bridge, it comforts me as well as makes me sad...but I am lucky to have a little piece of this special boy!!!!!!  |

| Aw, Val! Thanks for posting such nice things about the Nelson Bear. And Judi, too. Val, Judi & Vonne each have one, I kept one and one was sold on the Top Twenty Auction at the Rochester National a few years ago. I took this of Val's bear and the one the big Top Twenty auction bear before going to Rochester:  These are the two that Judi & my sister Vonne have:  Here's one from Maggie McGee IV's coat. I had this yarn processed and spun commercially. It's what prodded me to learn to spin dog hair into yarn:  I still have a huge bag of Nelson hair to card and spin. Whatever is made from it will be even more precious than the bears done previously. |
