You'll get a wide array of opinions here ranging from: 1. A full year 2. Only a few months as you don't want to over stimulate growth 3. Everything in between I found each pup was different. Some wanted adult food by 6 month and other pigs would be content for 10 years or so on the stuff. The other question is, "What brand?" Quality please. The generic, WalMart, feed store stuff........no. Pups here are fed various prime foods......and it may take awhile to find one your pup's taste buds and tummy tolerate. Hopefully the little squirt came into your arms being fed a good food and your baby is content with it. |

Puppy food is a bit much for most OES as they enter mid puppyhood. 8 yrs ago, I switched Chewie at about 7 months. 2 yrs ago, I switched Bond at 5.5 months. Both have done wonderfully and grown into well developed and successful adult OES. |
Hi. Could you explain what you mean by saying puppy food is a bit much? Thanks. i don't quite understand what you may mean by that. |
