I woke up to the Brickster panting in my face and pacing. I told him to lie down. Then I saw the big flashes of lightning. So I get up and get him a path to the basement bathroom and set it all up for him down there (all lights on, TV blaring). He stayed down there until 3:30 or 4 AM. He didn't have an issue with going out this morning, so that was good. I guess I have to dig out the Thundershirt and the alprazolam. Spring is here. |

Poor Brick, he has such a rough time. Guess the meds and shirt of spring are better than the shovel and sweater of winter |
Poor Brick, but at least there are things you can do to make things better for him. When Violet was with us, I knew a storm was coming before it came because Violet would come and look me in the face and than head for the bedroom..... |
Oh boy, here we go again. Poor Brick. Harry is another thunder-phobic dog. I didn't think we'd have to deal with it again. |
Brick! |
