| I get the feeling that there may be a fishing line or something pulling that leg up like that... I'll have to look at it much more closely.
While it's funny to look at, it really isn't funny to have such a resource-guarding dog in your house. Jake used to get that way about rawhide bones, and he actually bit my cousin just because she dared to walk by him in the hallway while he was gnawing on her present. We should have known better than to be polite and allow him to have the present. We knew better after that. To get a rawhide away from him, one of us would have to go and ring the doorbell, and the other quickly hid the bone and pretend nothing was different when he came back. He never found the bone when we moved it, but he did look for a few minutes before giving up. I was severely bitten many many times by Jake, and while I loved/miss him, that video brings back the bad memories. Sorry to be such a downer! |

| There was a dalmation on the Dog Whisperer who was like this. It would attack it's own tail when it was eating. He said that that dog was exceedingly, frighteningly aggressive and he had to intervene right away.
As long as it's not one of our dogs though, That clip is super funny. It's like his own leg is sneaking up on him!
