I have just subscribed to this forum after avidly reading all the wonderful posts and helpful information freely and warmly shared. Thank you! Your helpfulness has been wonderful already! We have a little boy just over 9 weeks old. His name is Monty (sorry, we noticed at least one more fellow named Monty here) and he is our 1st OES after previously having boxers. We are learning as much as he is! Sue |

Hi Sue and welcome. Where in Melbourne are you? I'm in Brunswick. And where does the handsome Monty come from? Mim |
Hi Mim Thanks for the welcome. We're out near Lilydale, but the handsome Monty heralds from Darwin! We're still getting to know each other only having had him for 10 days. Sue |
I used to come out to Lilydale when I worked at Swinburne Uni. Now I drive through it only if I'm on my way to the Yarra Valley for good wine and food. Monty has come a long way. Stay in touch and post lots of pics. |
Welcome Sue and Monty from Florida USA. My oes, Helene, is 12 weeks old today. I also have and aussie, Declan who is 16 weeks old and than Asia, an aussie, who is 6 yrs old. I hope you enjoy having your puppy as much as I'm enjoying my pups. |
hey Min Thanks for that. I'm taking a weekly picture of Monty for myself to track his growth and I'll try to share these from time to time here, as well. If you are ever coming out this way and want the dogs to have a play date, just let me know.Oh, and by the way, I loved your blog! Well done on an entertaining piece of writing. hey Helen Thanks for your kind welcome. Yes, I'm loving the pup and learning lots from him already. I'm sure it will be a wonderful journey Wow, getting the pups from Australia must be quite a journey. And we thought Monty's 6 hour flight was a long one. Thanks Sue, I have a full time job now so I don't write it anymore, makes me a bit sad but there's dog walking and brushing to fit in. Monty's mum wrote: hey Min Thanks for that. Hi Brenda Thank you,we think he is a very handsome boy! It is hard to believe how quickly they do grow. We've been taking weekly photos, I'll try and put some up today. Our boxers were so friendly, but I do believe Monty is going to out charm them! By the way Charm is a real cutie!
