Plumber here as neither DH or I are into DIY anymore. Cleaning the bathroom is as much as I want to do, not replace seals, valves, etc anymore. Anyway Kdog and I were hiding in the sewing room so the plumber wouldn't be molested. I was sneaking out to put the repaired items on the dining room table when I heard, "OMG! is that a bear?" I turned and the plumber had FEAR on his face when he saw Kdog (from the rear.......you know the best side). Kensie turned and started to bark (dispelling the "bear" part), "How you get into my house, want to pet me, feed me, aren't I cute...." You know, sheepdog talk. Alas the plumber isn't a dog person and could only stutter, "What is it and what does it weigh, 150 lbs?" I told him the name and no, she was hopefully under 90 lbs. "That sure is the hairiest dog I've every seen!" When I let her outside, she flew off the porch, "That dog is fast for her size." Enough with this size business, this is a plus size house, dogs and people. Kensie and I retreated back to the laundry room to await the plumber's departure. No more being called fluffy for Kdog. |
