Tucker hasn't "gone" for a day and 1/2

Very unusual for Tucker not to poo every day-- many times twice. But, he hasn't gone for a day and a half now... feels fine, acts grea, eating ok, no change in food.

We have been traveling, just a short trip to the hospital, and he stayed in a hotel... could that be it?

What should I do to move him on... :lmt:

He pooped yet?

Just like some humans, some dogs are not fond of pooping in strange places. (and for some dogs, it includes peeing in strange places too).
Happily, in dogs this is a learned skill. With repeated practice in strange places, they can easily overcome this.
Walk him around and the exercise will stimulate peristalsis (gut motility) and help things along. With pups we usually try to avoid other dog potty areas, but in this case, the smell where other dogs have gone will help convince him he is supposed to do his business.
I'm in WI at a hotel now, with Chewie. He's a bathroom pro, no matter where he goes. Knowing that verbal "potty" command is very helpful too. Helps convince them it's OK.
Also going out in a fairly distraction free area will help too. Puppies get distracted and diverted from the job!
Is he home? Then he should be relaxed again and ready to go. If still away, increase walks, remain calm but encouraging. Find some nice quiet protected area for his business......helps when it is "different."

If he's home and having problems, a bit of Metamucil in their food........tsp is more than enough......and some "encouraging" water.........here it is "white water"...water with a touch of milk is such a treat they drink a bowlful. Between the extra bulk and water, things move along nicely.

One other thought, check the back door. Is there a dingle blocking the exit?

You made me choke on my coffee with this sentence!
All is well... we had "lift off". He is a good pooper, and knows the potty command, so that is what had me worried. But, he did his business, and we are back on track. :)
