I saw this recently.
Its interesting how much scientists are figuring out from genome mapping.

Interesting. Maybe now folks will stop trying to compare our modern domestic dogs to wolf populations for training purposes.

I read a great book called "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz. She details dog behaviors, and tries to look at the world through the lens of a dog (the best we can), using what we know about a dog's senses and biology. I really connected with this book, as it doesn't treat dogs like furry humans, nor does it treat them like wolves. It discusses and debunks some of the myths about the studies done on wolf populations, and how those have been perpetuated and introduced as a basis for dog behavioral training.

I agree, interesting. And I definitely agree that it would be beneficial for people to stop trying to compare our modern dogs to wolf packs for training purposes.
