Its an Aussie journo with time on his hands to, what we call 's*#t stir', a spam caller. http://www.theage.com.au/entertainment/when-a-computer-scammer-tries-to-open-my-windows-porn-saves-the-day-20140201-31u1c.html |

Ha ha, my 80 year old friend got scammed by one of these, it would be amusing for her to string them along like this. |
Too funny! I got one of these calls last week. I started jumping up and down and yelling into the phone, "How much did I win? How much did I win? I entered that contest for shares of Microsoft - How many shares did I win?" They hung up. |
That was so funny and really quite smart. My landline phn rings into my fax machine, so I'm sure that is a pleasant sound. screech!!!!!! |
Loved it - so funny! Now I know what to do the next time one of those pc-burglars calls me - I usely hang up. |
me thinks I have an aussie sense of humor. luv it |
Oh my! I should switch my tactics. I usually ask them if they think I'm really this stupid. The last one had the honesty to say it was worth the try. I like the credit card services calls too. I answer, poke the buttons and get some hopeful person. I tell them I need the protection, we get all the way to the giving of the credit card number when I ask them if that isn't included in the protection, because I thought they were offering me a credit card. Its a nice way to frustrate someone. |
