It's been a long wait, I had a bit if a bad experience last year found a breeder , picked out a lovely wee girl from the pictures of the litter. I was so excited but when ever I tried to arrange a meet to see the pups in their home they always had an excuse. I eventually drive for 5 hours to see the pups, they were adorable and seem to be happy and healthy, I was delighted and arranged to see the pups again in a couple of weeks and to pay a security deposit but when I tried to contact the owner again I couldn't get them either by phone or mobile... I head nothing from them again, I was devastated, luckily I didnt pay the deposit , and later found out they where a puppy farm/mill.. I'm happy with the breeder I have this time though and they have been very friendly and had no problem with me visiting the pups... I live in a very rural part of Ireland so I've about an 8 hour round trip to collect her, I'm not looking forward to the drive but it will be worth it to get her home I've been reading all your posts for the last year or so, and I think has to be the best forum I've ever come across you all seem to so knowledgeable and willing to sure your knowledge so freely, I'm sure I will have plenty if questions for you all in the future... Oh and don't worry I know how you all like the pics so I'll be taking loads... Cheers, Monty.... |

I'm so excited for you! I'm glad you were able to find a good breeder. I went through a similar situation where the first breeder I found (before finding this forum) was not the best way to go. Waiting for the right fur baby is hard, but so worth it! I can't wait to see pics of your new baby! Give her lots of cuddles and scoop that sweetie up often. They grow so fast! Oh, and welcome to the forum! |
Thanks Teresa, Yeah it's worth the wait to get from a reliable breeder. It's been a long wait but worth it.... I was looking after my sister's wee pug for the last year or so but she took him back a few months ago so the house had been empty with out the pitter patter of little paws.... By the way I was following the story of you lovely wee Sam, he such a wee cutie... And getting big too. |
This is my sister's wee man that was living with me.... The house has been so empty without him, but he's happy to be back with his mum.... |
