This morning I was cleaning out the clippers, so I took out the srews on the front plate. After I cleaned the clippers up and greased them, I began screwing the screws back in. One dropped on the floor, I saw where it hit (as did Abbi) so I decided to just put the other one in first and then go and retrieve the errant screw later. I looked and looked and couldn't find that screw. I was thinking, "How could it have moved." So I began sweeping the floor. When I got to Abbi I poked her and said "move". As she lifted her head, there was the little screw. And I know she did it on purpose, because usually when the broom comes out she moves to the carpet. She had this guilty look on her face as she skulked over to the door too. So I put the clippers together, made sure they ran, and put them up for the day. |

That just cracks me up.
How can you not love that? |
Me too! Loved the story! They actually DO look quilty at times don't they? |
Abbi has been the most amazingly facially active dog. Between her various "looks" and her "talking" (she moves her mouth and yammers), I just know she thinks she is one of us.
She usually sleeps in the bathroom because she's outgrown her beloved laundry room and the bathroom's cooler. So I am taking up to the bathroom to go to bed last night, and she goes into my youngest daughter's room and lays down. Even my daughter was arguing with me when I made her go to the bathroom! But she is on prednisone and drinks a lot and pees a lot. Somehow she's learned to jump into the bathtub to pee, so I leave her the biggest bowl of water in there too. It's for the best. But they both made me feel bad the other night. I think she was trying to move up to the kids quarters. |
