Loved watching those runs, ohh Teddy you bad boy peering on the tunnel LOL, you did a quick call when he looked to do it again The last run was good, but wasn't the last jump a refusal if he runs past it? I'm still learning the rules. Monty does what Teddy does and goes for the ramp rather than the jump, it's more fun to be up high, but they will get better the more we do it. |
In novice you get 2 refusals and 3 tries to get the weaves. I think you might also get a wrong course. I'm still learning also. This is my first time doing agility or any of the performance sports. So Teddy already starts out disadvantaged because I'm learning at the same time I'm teaching him. It is so much fun though and he REALLY LOVES it! Cindy |
I love it too and so does Monts. It's really the dog owner who makes the guiding mistakes rather than the dog accept when the dog insists on going over the bridge instead of over a jump cause it's more fun. The learning and guiding is so fun for us and the dogs love it, I have sleepless nights thinking about it and Monty and my improvements and look forward to the next class or practice session to put what we learn to use. I have a great instructor, he trials and is enthusiastic about his students trailing, he is really generous with his skills. Monty is just starting to click into weaves, if we can get the entry right he makes it all the way through. I might post our practice session. Thanks for posting your trial videos, I enjoy watching Teddy and you in action. |
