Her mom and dad were with her, looking into her beautiful eyes as she passed peacefully. I am so sad, just heartbroken. I know Val has lost dogs before, but I also know Heart was very special and far too young.  I know there won't be a lot of comfort to be had right now, but Val and Dino can take some in knowing that Heart has had a life with every day being a good day, every day being happy, full of fun and love, it's too short but it can only be called a good life. She has been a very lucky girl. A short life as rich as Heart's is a lot better than most. She never knew horrible pain or fear, she just knew love, especially the love from her momma and poppa. We will all miss her dearly. I know that Heart was sent over the bridge with love and hugs from many, many people. And lots of her sheepie friends waiting for her on the other side. Judi, please give Val and Dino big hugs from Kim and I, I wish I could in person, but I'm just blubbering.  |
| The rainbow bridge burns brightly with all your bling. We were so lucky to have you as part of our lives. The time we spent with you was little but the mark you left on us was so big. | My heart is breaking for you knowing the pain you are in with allowing Heart to grow her Angel Wings today. The hardest thing one has to do is say good bye.... We've all lost a sweet sheepie girl today. Many of us remember her from birth and all the great things Heart was able to do in these 6 short years. I am heart-broken.  Heart was such a big part of this forum, and of many people's lives. I was so hoping that the prednisone would give her more time, but I'm glad at least it seemed to ease her pain and discomfort towards the end. Rest in peace, sweet girl, and enjoy all our other dogs at the bridge, until we all meet again.Val and Dino, there are no words - just many, many hugs. |

| Beautiful Heart; you were such an inspiration to those of us with less than ideal Sheepies. Whenever Luna insisted on rolling in the mud, I would remind her how beautiful Heart always looked. And when Tonks would tear her piggies out, I would say "Heart wears Piggies, and they are always full of sparkles and bling!". When the girls would go and play with kids int he neighborhood, I would think "be gentle, like Heart, on her library visits!" Ultimately, I'd remind myself; "Val has trained Heart to be such a wonderful, smart, loving dog. I will have to be a sheepie owner more like Val". There will never be another sheepie like Heart; beautiful, fun-loving, gentle and smart. We will miss you so much, Heart, but we will continue to be inspired by you and your mommy. |

| Heaven just got more beautifull, an angel in all her glory/bling just entered and will always look over you, dino and family. Not only was she beautiful inside and out, she was a fashion leader, a trend setter. The years I knew and admired her on this forum and then meeting her in St Louis was special. What a lady.
