Fish face - it's a good thing, isn't it???
Tiggy took up her usual self-appointed overseer and supervisor role today while I did all the potting up. I like to water new plants in with a liquid fertiliser and I've found one that is made out of ground fish meal to be very good at spurring growth. Tiggy was fascinated (you might remember previous posts about her theft of aquarium fish food)  she stuck her beak in the pots and the bucket of liquid fertiliser when I turned my back. She's sitting with a big grin on her face and a beard that stinks of fish fertiliser. Ewwwww. She is clearly of the opinion that it's a very good thing. Her perfume of choice is Eau de Pisces. YUK!  |

| I used to feed our bougnavilleas with liquid fish emulsion, the boys would just be very interested, smelling and such. I started using dried fish emulsion in our lemon and lime trees; the boys were ecstatic! They could finally get a taste. Of course it was always right after they snorkeled in the pool! They were always very proud of themselves! I dig it in pretty deep and it helps. |
