What are you doing today ? (Sunday)

| Good question. We are at -7F here, with -30 and more (less?) windchill. A bright and sunny day arctic day! Luckily, I work 12 hours today!  It was brutal going to work at 6:30am, but it was actually a bit warmer then, than it is now. I feed the dogs before I go to work. Todd's home and he went out early and did all the outdoor animal chores and gave them lots of food to generate warmth thru digestion. Extra caloric needs in weather like this too. Todd said he was going to stick around home, it was even too cold for him to go fishing (and that is cold - they have insulated and heated fish houses). Who knows though, my thought is he'll get bored and go out later today.  |
| And I was right - Just texted Todd, and he's out fishing! Big surprise there. |
| Watching the Bengals ( WHO DEY!) and cuddling with Tucker. Crab legs for supper tonight... a kind of boring, do nothing kind of day. Well, do nothing except laundry... |
| Y'all have had one heck of a temperature drop over these 24 hours!! I'd be hunkered down too! (I was wondering if the ice was thick enough for fishing!!) Dinner will be very simple; potato/leek and probably cabbage soup. Too many Christmas cookies these last few days. |

| Family left today. Saw them off. Began putting the house back in order. Some laundry. Picked up the poop outside now that the snow melted and before the next round buries it. Made dinner. Between all that, just watching Velocity channel. |
| We took down the Christmas tree while we watched football. Other than that, it's been a pretty lazy day. |
| Pretty chilly and rained all day so I did laundry and brushed out Fred while watching some movies. Pitch Perfect and Silence of the Lambs. Would have just stayed on the couch all evening too but had plans with a friend to see the new Hobbit movie and I couldn't cancel since I was also her ride home from work. Glad I went though. Love those Fantasy movies. |
