Welcome to our forum! Please take some time to read a bit in this area of our forum: http://forum.oes.org/viewforum.php?f=14 There are litterally dozens of answers to your very question. My personal 2 cents is to go to a couple dog shows and talk to some people. If nothing else you get a better feel for what is out there. You can go to the oesca website and look at breeders there - it's a place to start. Those breeders are supposed to be bound by breeding standards set by the club. Some will disagree with me, but at least it is a starting point. Then when you find someone you think is a potential breeder for you - come here and check them out. We may have already covered them in a past thread. Remember to check out all the tests they 'say' they do and ofa certs etc- but you will read more about that stuff in the getting a puppy area. Chime in here everyone-- Shellie |
