Got a bill from the radiologist's office in mid-November. The due date is December 21. I kinda forgot about it and it was scheduled to pay today but nevertheless, they sent me ANOTHER bill. It's still not due. I technically have 11 more days. What is up with these companies? Are there that many deadbeats? In the 8 years I've had my mortgage, I've never made a late payment. Give me a break. |

My son broke his arm last spring and had two surgeries to fix it. We are now the opposite, I have to call the combined billing department of the hospital and doctor clinic every month to make sure they receive and credit the payment to our accounts. The months I don't spend 10 minutes on the phone, they do stupid stuff like credit the hospital payment to the clinic and then they send me a nastygram saying I haven't paid my bill. They don't believe in universal billing either, so I get to send two payments every month to the same billing department for the same incident. Heaven help me if we were actually not paying on time and the correct amount! |
My health insurance provider bit the dust and is being taken over by another. I cry because there was no billing with the original, they did all the billing and payments in house except for an upfront copay for surgery, specialists, etc. I'm living in fear to see what is coming next month. I won't relate the horrors DH has had to go thru to get thru the orthopedic portal in a new partnership....he still hasn't made it. Fortunately starting next month we can go back to our old docs where they take care of records, etc. He has 400 pages of medical records plus the disks with Xrays and MRIs and still didn't have everything......assembled just to get thru the portal to be assigned a doc. Forget that noise! |
