3,903 miles, 8 states, 10 RV parks, 36 nights in the RV, 3 baths on the road for the boys. They were thrilled to be home. The only issue we had was how filthy they got in the desert and consecutive days of diarrhea in each dog near the end of the journey. Dexter knew where we were we we pulled off the highway. Winston ran out the RV door straight to the front door of the house when we got home. They spent about 45 minutes checking out their backyard while we unloaded the RV before they ever checked on us. This trip put them over 16,000 miles this year in the RV. They seem to love the RV but agree with us, there's no place like home! We hope to get one more short trip before 2014 and will hit the road in January to kick off the year. We got quite a few pics and already shared the best of the boys. Next trip we will take more of them. |

Welcome home |
LOL! They don't want trespassers on THEIR backyard! Their job is to protect you and the homestead, they needed to get back to work. What funny kids. Sorry about "D" we are going thru that again with Harry. |
Wow you've come along ways. I'm sure all are happy to be home, but ready to head on the next adventure. |
With the weather we have here in the DFW area we kinda wish we had kept going on south for another week on the road! |
I bet. Ice storms are the worst. We are just cold. Had 5 1/2 inches snow and temps aren't warm to melt it away quickly. New storm due in tonight won't drop moisture on us, or not much but the temps are just going to get lower. I'm ready to head for any place warmer! |
Welcome Home! You need to do a blog outlining all your adventures with your Sheepies. Sounds like a great adventure and I do agree...there is no place like home! Bet they ran and sniffed everything and will sleep good tonight. |
Sounds like a BIG trip! |
