The US Standard says "tail docked close to the body". |
No you can't, and to be honest, sadly you will receive a lot of hateful attention if you try. Just being honest. |
Well that's wrong as no fault to owners and breeders due to government law but you can show an oversea dog a our show with a docked tail |
I don't know for sure...as there was a dog at our Nationals the year it was in MN who was from Europe (somewhere, not sure of exact origin) who came over to show and had a tail...and if I remember did do pretty well in the placings. I think it was the open dogs class. That was in 2008. But to be fair, it does work the other way as well. At the international agility trials at European sites who have a docking ban, our dogs are not allowed to compete with docked tails or cropped ears. |
Don't you just state its an import? I don't know I always thought it was like here when docked dogs are imported etc. But having tails isnt to their standard so you probably wouldn't get anywhere and if you did thered be up roar Interesting question |
It's a shame being honest and you should be able to enter any show around the world tail or no tail it's about the dog and the tail and there is more to a dog and just it's tail |
