Daffy, Daffy...The Pumpkin Eater!
 My oes, Daffy loves pumpkins! I always know somthing is wrong, when I notice that Daffy is being quiet outside around Halloween. She recently took our big pumpkins off the front steps & began playing with them. By the time I had discovered her w/ the pumpkins in the front yard, she had already manged to carve huge chunks out of the pumpkins. I guess that's less work for me, but I am not sure if my neighbors will appreciate her unique arististic style of carving pumpkins! |

| Abbi gets hairballs. Vet said to feed her pumkin. She wouldn't go near it, even when I mixed it with her food and a broth.
I have two huge ones painted for Halloween. I am going to carve them next week, so I will have fresh pumkin. So maybe she will eat it fresh? I hope she likes it as much as yours. So far Abbi hasn't even sniffed at the painted pumkin heads. But I am going to get the camera ready and see what she thinks of the carved ones next week. PS: It gets up to 90'F here still, so you don't carve the pumkins until the last possible moment -- they last all of 3 days before they become moldy or worse. We do have some oranges with cloves in them that Abbi rolled around for a while. Made a nice orange path on my white tile, so I found them behind the cabinents rather easily. |
